Our Day Campers will join home-based classes with whom they will spend the day. Our outstanding team of group leaders, specialists, and counselors foster an environment where every camper feels free to be themselves, where creativity is allowed to flourish, and where the focus is on friendships and play.

Arts and Crafts

Join us for general arts and crafts, and then dive deeper into jewelry making, painting, collaborative projects, or creating your own comic book!

Specialty classes

From baking delicious treats, to learning impressive magic tricks, our specialty classes allow campers to explore new and exciting activities not found during the traditional school day.

Animal Science, LEGO Engineering, Einstein's Science Lab, and a creation station during free choice time means campers have many STEM options each summer!

games

Campers love games! Each year our Day Campers work together to compete in scavenger hunts. We also play a variety of board games, team-building activities, Bingo, and more!

Our Sports and Games class explores traditional sports, as well as wacky games such as Dragon Tower! Campers have also loved Tae Kwon Do and tennis. New in 2023: Pickleball!

carnival day

On the last day of each session, we hold our famous carnival day! Complete with giant inflatables, this exciting morning is always the perfect way to culminate a wonderful session!

Day camp Sample Schedule

Each home-based class will rotate through activities that alternate on a daily basis, allowing campers to explore up to eight activities throughout each session. With a mix of Summer at Norwood favorites and innovative specialties, Day Campers will not only dive into their interests, they will also try new things and expand their horizons!
