We're excited to bring this one week intensive camp to Summer at Norwood for the 2022 season. Norwood School's very own string teacher, Mrs. Oviedo, will be leading the camp that is open to any string instrument players who play the violin, viola, cello, or bass. Campers will hone their musical skills (sight-reading, rhythms, music theory, etc.) through a mix of sectional small group work, orchestra rehearsals, and rhythm games each day. They'll also have time to hang out and play other fun games! The week culminates with our Annual Orchestra Trivia Bowl and a casual performance showcasing the pieces the students have learned during the week. This is the perfect program for any strings musician who wants to improve their technique while having a blast!
Please note that all eligible campers are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to participate in Summer at Norwood programming. Visit the Health and Safety Protocols page for more information.
