Summer at Norwood’s Adventure Camp is an experiential program that provides exposure to a wide array of fun adventure-based activities. Campers will travel by bus and explore various outdoor activities with our Adventure Team.
Activities may include Stand-up Paddle Boarding, Kayaking, Hiking, Scavenger Hunts, and more!
Each week includes a special trip with a late pick-up to allow campers to explore destinations on the DMV outskirts.
Adventure Camp schedules will be sent out to families one week before each camp session begins.

Summer at Norwood hires only top-notch certified instructors to lead its Adventure Camp, and partners the leading trusted outdoor recreational activity vendors in the Washington, D.C., area.
Adventure campers travel in buses each day to explore various local parks and natural landmarks.
Campers build leadership skills and engage in team building and environmental learning.
