Kevin Rechen
Director of Auxiliary and Summer Programs

Kevin is excited to prepare for his sixteenth Summer at Norwood since joining the Norwood community in 2007 as Director of After School Programs. Now, as the Director of Auxiliary and Summer Programs, Kevin leads the team of Summer at Norwood directors in planning and running all aspects of camp. "Summer is my favorite time of the year," he says. "You can feel the excitement of campers, teachers, and counselors all through the camp!" Kevin especially enjoys Wacky Wednesdays and seeing the creative ways that campers choose to dress up for the weekly theme.

Danielle Wilcox
Director of Day Camp
​
Danielle has worked in local independent schools for over 15 years. During that time, she has been an athletic director, middle school advisor, lower school PE teacher, varsity coach, and more!
Danielle uses the skills she has learned while teaching and coaching into her camp organization and planning. She also brings her passion for creativity and thinking outside the box to camp programming to be sure every camper has the best camp experience. Danielle joined Norwood School in 2022 and had an amazing first Summer at Norwood. She can’t wait to see everyone back in 2023!

Lori Hurwitz
Director of Junior Day Camp

Lori started teaching as a Summer at Norwood, Junior Day (ages 3.5-5 year old's) lead teacher in 2009. In 2015, Lori had the pleasure of becoming the director of the Junior Day Camp. Lori's extensive experience comes from over 25 years of teaching in local private and public schools, which led to her developing and operating Creative Enrichment, her own after-school enrichment program for the past 9 years.
She loves to create exciting, engaging, hands on activities for campers to explore, learn, enjoy, and above all, have fun doing!
