Game-on Sports Camp

Norwood's own Ms.Bettencourt and Mr. Giles are excited to offer a new action-packed week for active, sport-loving campers! Exploring both new or classic sports & games each day, campers will learn the rules and skills involved while participating in active game play. With both indoor and outdoor options, boredom can beat it! Campers will work on developing teamwork, positive sportsmanship, and lifelong healthy habits with every activity played. Grab your water bottles and lace up your sneakers, its time to play! All experience levels are welcome.

Red Hot Robots
Join Mad Science and our Radical Robots for a scientific journey through circuitry and sensors. Explore several different types of robots…robots that follow lines and sounds, robotic arms like the ones you see in the big factories on TV (well, smaller than that, but you get the picture). You will even play tag with robots that you control! Complete the camp by building your own robot to take home!

Nailed It! Art Challenge
(Rising 1st-2nd)

Calling all creative kids who love a good challenge. In this playful, fast-paced class inspired by the hit show Nailed It! Young artists will be shown a final creation and given all the materials needed to recreate it. How they get there is up to them. Each challenge encourages creative thinking, experimentation, and problem-solving as kids sculpt, paint, collage, and design their way through projects like a unicorn cake sculpture, a fox at sunset, a llama with a flower crown, and more.

Curious Chefs

Chop, dice, mix, and more, come explore the wonders of culinary arts! Through hands-on cooking lessons, campers will learn the basics of recipe preparation, kitchen and food safety, tips and tricks to make their dishes house hold favorites, and more! Guided by Norwood's own returning chef, Ms. Roberta, our curious young chef's will work together to prepare delicious dishes and classic sweet treats.
Recipes are allergen friendly and adaptable for dietary needs.

Welcome to the world of Dungeons & Dragons! A nationally-known Role Playing Game full of exciting adventures, magical creatures, and endless possibilities. Awaken the magic of creativity and build your own worlds, characters, battles, and more! Stretch your imagination with collaborative story telling, practice your problem solving when facing off against villainous characters, and develop social and emotional skills while working together as a team while exploring an array of new worlds and characters. Are you ready to roll the dice and see what's in store?

My First Lemonade Stand
(Rising 1st-2nd)

It's never too early to learn about money management or making a refreshing treat, so why not both? From experimenting with lemonade recipes, designing and creating flyers, and learning how to count money and make change, campers will have the chance to dive into a taste of young entrepreneurship! To top off this classic childhood experience, a grand finale of launching the lemonade stand and all money made will be donated to a local charity selected by the campers.

Unleash your creativity in this fun-filled art class inspired by today’s favorite pop culture trends. Campers will sculpt playful clay characters, including a Labubu-inspired creation, while exploring other creative themes influenced by popular K-pop characters, movie icons, and more current kid-loved trends. Guided step by step, young artists will shape, design, and personalize their creations through various media types and techniques to make each piece uniquely their own!

Using the LEGO Education SIKE Prime Robotics Set, campers will have the chance to explore colorful LEGO building elements, easy-to-use hardware, and coding languages using the intro to coding program, Scratch Jr. From easy-entry projects to limitless creative design possibilities, campers will learn the essential STEAM and coding basics to bring to life their own robotic creations!
